The 17.1 MB software update is available for download and addresses &#8220;vulnerabilities that could cause a crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system,&#8221; according to the company&#8217;s security bulletin. Adobe recommends that all users\u00a0of Adobe Flash Player 11.7.700.203 and earlier versions for Mac update their software to the newest version 11.7.700.225.<\/p>\n<p>From Adobe&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adobe.com\/support\/security\/bulletins\/apsb13-16.html\" target=\"_blank\">security bulletin<\/a> (APSB13-16), the following describes the security contents of this update:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>These updates resolve a memory corruption vulnerability that could lead to code execution (<a href=\"http:\/\/cve.mitre.org\/cgi-bin\/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2013-3343\" target=\"_blank\">CVE-2013-3343<\/a>).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Users of Adobe Flash Player 11.7.700.203 and earlier versions for Mac should update to <a href=\"http:\/\/get.adobe.com\/flashplayer\/\" target=\"_blank\">Adobe Flash Player 11.7.700.225<\/a>. Flash Player installed with Google Chrome will automatically be updated to the latest Google Chrome version, which will include the newest Adobe Flash versions for Windows, Macintosh and Linux.
