The 17.5 MB software update is available for download and resolves a critical vulnerability with reports that an exploit for this flaw exists in the wild.<\/p>\n<p>Affected Adobe software versions include: Adobe Flash Player 12.0.0.43 and earlier versions for Windows and Macintosh, and Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.335 and earlier versions for Linux.<\/p>\n<p>From Adobe&#8217;s <a title=\"Adobe Security Bulletin \" href=\"http:\/\/helpx.adobe.com\/security\/products\/flash-player\/apsb14-04.html\" target=\"_blank\">security bulletin<\/a>, the following details describe the vulnerability resolved in these updates:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>These updates resolve an integer underflow vulnerability that could be exploited to execute arbitrary code on the affected system (<a title=\"CVE-2014-0497\" href=\"http:\/\/cve.mitre.org\/cgi-bin\/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2014-0497\" target=\"_blank\">CVE-2014-0497<\/a>).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Users of Adobe Flash Player 12.0.0.43 and earlier versions for Windows and Macintosh should update to <a title=\"Adobe - Install Adobe Flash Player\" href=\"http:\/\/get.adobe.com\/flashplayer\/\" target=\"_blank\">Adobe Flash Player 12.0.0.44<\/a>. Users of Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.335 and earlier versions for Linux should update to Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.336.
