We publish articles here each time Apple releases a security update, but like everyone else using Macs, we don’t know in advance when those updates are going to be released. Computerworld writes about how this uncertainty affects Apple in the enterprise<\/a>, pointing out that Microsoft has regular days on which they release patches, and that administrators can plan accordingly. After all, patching a large number of computers takes a fair amount of time for administrators, even with remote management tools. They need to first test the patch on a handful of machines, then deploy it, then deal with any problems across their client computers. <\/p>\n
